George Rich finished second in Y14 Mens Saber event at RYC Denise O'Connor in Jersey City, NJ. This competition (Regional Youth Circuit) is one of the possible qualification paths for Youth events at NACs (North American Cups).Keep it up, George!

Mendham boys team has defeated the powerful Columbia High School and has won the NJISSA/Bollinger Championships. It is a great accomplishment. 7 out of 9 team members are practicing in Morris Fencing Club. Our congratulations to boys and their coaches. Thank you, Thomas Tishman for your nice words published on our Facebook page. Thomas Tishman was the head coach in West Morris Mendham High School up until the last season. He has flourish the Mendham fencing teams to ascend. More details about the championship is here

Junior Olympics Qualifiers

On the 26th and 27th of November, the New Jersey Junior Olympics Qualifiers will be held in Rutgers University. Fencers will attempt to place in the top 25% of their competitions in order to qualify for the 2012 Junior Olympic Championships that will take place between the 17th and 20th of February in Salt Lake City.
The junior (U20) qualification will take place on the 26th (Registration). So far, there are about 20 preregistered competitors for each event, so chances of success are quite high. The cadet (U17) qualifier is on the 27th (Registration). And competition in this event is even smaller. It is highly advised that you try to enter these events, no matter your skill level, in order to gain valuable experience, to have a chance of qualifying, and to represent Morris Fencing Club.
